Yellow Bird Productions
Rachel Vorm and I recently completed work on a Web site for the local video production company, Yellow Bird. Among their projects is a recently completed documentary called “Eyes on Africa”, produced for the non-profit organization, Global Partners for Development. The documentary will be airing on the California Public Broadcasting Station and on the Starfish Network through Dish on Demand. You can take a look at the site by clicking the image below.

Yet another of the bands that I work for has mobilized for the spring! Unwed Sailor will be taking to the road throughout March and April and will finally be making their way back to the midwest with a stop at the Vaudeville Mews in Des Moines, which brings me much joy. I’ve just posted a full list of dates on the band’s official site, so go take a look! Their latest album, Little Wars, is really enjoyable, so I’m looking forward to hearing some songs off that when they make their way to Iowa.

You can now pre-order the upcoming book, From a Growing Community, Iowa’s Homeless Youth from a site dedicated to the project. You can also check out photos from events, find contact information to volunteer around Des Moines, and purchase t-shirts that help fund the project. The Books: Spring 2009 Tour!
The Books are not dead! In fact, I’ve been tasked with several new projects for them. The first of these was posting several spring tour dates on the official site recently. Have a look and see if you can catch them before the shows sell out!

Shrieking Tree: Rachel Vorm
Over this last year, three more people have joined the Shrieking Tree group: Wesley, Danny, and Nicole Anderson. The fourth, and most recent addition, is Rachel Vorm. Due to an overwhelming amount of projects, Rachel hopped on board last month and worked with me on a Web site for the video production company, Yellowbird. I’ll have a post on that later, but for now I want to leave you with a piece of her art and encourage you to check out her personal site for more interesting stuff.
