The TwizLand site for Michael Pickard is planned to be finished this week. Here’s another image from the upcoming gallery for now.

Today I bring you the full-length music video for “An Owl With Knees” by The Books from their Playall DVD. If you like it, go to the official site and look through the shed I put together earlier this month. There you can watch clips from the other twelve songs on the disc and purchase a copy of the DVD if you like.

The Books Web site was one of the first major Web projects I undertook back in early 2005, and now I’ve returned to it. The cardboard slab menu that my hand carries in is now completely full! The new section is called the shed, and there you can watch clips I chose from ten of The Books music videos, as well as three full-length videos Nick and I picked out: “An Owl With Knees”, “Smells Like Content”, and “Take Time.” Over the course of May I’ll also be posting the clips here intermittently to give you a taste of their material if you happen to not be familiar with it. The DVD is called Playall: A DVD of Videos and can be bought in the garage at the official site.

No commentsThe Books: Site Update
Given their recent ultra-silent streak, I imagine there’s quite a few people out there wondering, “What’s going on with The Books?” Well, last year they played a bunch of live shows, some of which I finally posted photos of today at the official site. I’ve also been assigned the task of creating a new room, soon to be accessible from the cardboard slab menu. The new room will be designed to show off clips and three full-length videos from the Playall DVD they released last year. Up next is the soundtrack to a documentary about the Biosphere 2 project, which should be released sometime soon. Other than that, there’s not really much going on with The Books for the time being. However, I have seen a rough cut of the documentary, and it looks very good.
