An Umbrella: Progress Update

June 29th, 2006 | Category: An Umbrella, Animation, Music, Web-Related

The (rather detailed) animated introduction to my newest musical/Web project, An Umbrella is very near completion. After weeks of working with others on photography, scripting, and musical composition, the visuals are very near their finishing point. Although it may take a bit of time to get a cleanly recorded musical score done, progress is definitely being made at a quicker rate than it ever has before on this project. Meanwhile, “Vegas Anesthetic Peddler,” a key summarization of some of the main ideas projected through the site is also very nearly complete, awaiting the hands of a skilled drummer and mixing. I am also working on an urelated music video project which I will post more information about if/when it comes to fruition. I know this doesn’t mean anything new to look at or download, but it’s been twelve days since the last update, so I thought I’d post what is in the works.

Unwed Sailor: Five Month Tour

June 10th, 2006 | Category: Music, Unwed Sailor

Hey everyone. I’ve been scrambling like mad in an attempt to update all of the Flash animation I’ve done to be Internet Explorer 7 compliant. Those fiends at Microsoft had to go and implement some sort of active control protection, which makes you have to click on a Flash file once to activate it before actually being able to use its controls. Garr! Anyway, Unwed Sailor’s site is one of those that I’m updating, and they are now preparing to tour the United States and Europe over the course of the next five months! As usual, I suggest checking them out if they’re in your area. Click here for the dates!
