Filmtracks
Just a quick note for now — The aforementioned review, for those who are interested, was published yesterday and can be viewed here. During the next couple of weeks, I plan on contributing more writing to Filmtracks, in addition to seeking out musicians to aid me in creating studio recordings of the demos I mentioned in the last post. If you’re interested and in the Las Vegas area, send me an e-mail. I’m also up for working long-distance with other musicians via tape and phone. I’m supposed to meet with a potential drummer in the area tomorrow, so I’ll post a bit later with more information and updates. G’night, my little klreijhes. – Justin, An Umbrella
What the New Year Brings
Hello again, wretchlings. Just thought I’d let you know what’s been happening lately. I’ve finally re-settled in Vegas, and am planning to work a little bit with drummer Andy Roberts on recording some high-quality versions of some of the newer songs I’ve mentioned before like “Vegas Anesthetic Peddler,” “Three-Pronged Fork,” “Glacier Park and “Dormant.” We’ll see how the practice sessions go, and hopefully that will all work out. I’m also writing quite a bit, and my review for Jon Brion’s “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” soundtrack is scheduled to be posted on Filmtracks.com sometime this weekend. Other than all that, I’m working, and hoping to take a few college courses pretty soon here. Well, that’s it for now. Unfortunately, not anything really exciting, but I’ll keep pressing forward. I haven’t heard much new from Blake or Erik except that they’re both writing new material right now, but they’re not sure what they’ll do with it. As usual, feel free to send me an e-mail if you’d like. Farewell! — Justin Norman, An Umbrella
