What to Do?

December 28th, 2004 | Category: General News, Music

Well, the talks with the Elmo crew didn’t go as well as I’d hoped, so now I am planning to return to Las Vegas, because there appears to be nothing left for me here in Iowa. Thanks again to all of you who’ve been encouraging, and fear not! The twisted music of An Umbrella will hopefully rise in a high-quality recording sometime soon! I’m still writing out the latter half of the first album, and any skilled musicians that are interested in taking part of it are highly encouraged to e-mail me, particularly pianists and cellists/violinists, though any instrument is welcome for consideration. I’ve recorded rough guitar-bass-xylophone-vocals demos of three of these songs, and am continuing to write, write, write. Yes, I’ve hit several disappointing pitfalls, but I’m not giving up on art yet. I’m just waiting to meet the right people. So, yes, anyway… To Vegas I go! Check out the contact info in the previous entry if you’d like to get ahold of me. — Justin Norman, An Umbrella
