Elmo Recording Final Song Next Month
Hello everyone! It’s been awhile since I last updated everyone on our current condition. Cardboard Canary is still awaiting reunion next month, although some very exciting developments are happening for a live performance next month. I’ll let you know when the date is set. In the meantime, “Floating at 35 Miles Up” reached its height this month at #4 on the Top 40 MP3.com Grunge Charts, thanks to all of your support! The big news now is that Elmo (Kirk Brown, Robby Ogden and I) is recording at SongSmythe Studios next month! I’m flying back to Iowa in order to complete what is likely our last song, “Horizon.” Kirk is taking a break from music right now, Robby is playing in a new jazz/funk band, and I’m busy preparing for new things next month with Cardboard Canary, so Elmo will likely cease to function after this. However, I will be posting the last two songs – “Senex” and “Horizon” next month. Until then, keep checking the site, because I imagine I’ll have more exciting announcements to make in the following couple weeks.
