Show Updates
The show tonight will be at 7:00 PM, free admission at Valley E-Free on Fuller Rd in West Des Moines, IA. Also, the date of the final Des Moines performance at the Vaudeville Mews has been changed to Sunday, August 24th. During the final show, we will finally perform our new song "The Usual Delve," and perhaps one more new one, as well as the usual lineup of songs, and an old one that we haven’t performed in over a year. Other than that, I can tell you that this show is planned to be very different than any of our previous ones, in that we’ve planned it to tell a story as it moves forward. Check the Shows section for more information.

The Vaudeville Mews will host Cardboard Canary’s last performance in Des Moines for a very long time. This show will be Thursday, August 28th, and I assure you, we’ll be playing every new song we have ready as a farewell to this lovely city which we’ve been fortunate enough to play shows in for the past two years. You’ll hear more about this show in the near future, I’m sure. Check the Shows section for the trail of last gigs…

A quick note to those who have interest – Elmo, whom I played bass for and Robby drummed for, now has an MP3.com site here.

Show This Wednesday!
As the band’s first show in more than a month, we’re getting started with the last leg of shows in Iowa this Wednesday, at the Activities Center in Burt, Iowa. $4 at the door, 6:00 PM. Check the Shows section for more details.

A slew of new photos taken by fans are now up in the Live Shots section from our last few shows in Atlantic and Fort Dodge.
More Shows, String Players
After finishing our latest recording project, the band will be back on top of playing live shows in Iowa throughout the July and August, before we move on. A few more dates have just been lined up, so check them out in the Shows section. These are likely the last dates we’ll be playing in Iowa for a very long time. As far as the recording project goes, we’ve talked to cellist Ben Mars and violinist Kady Keller, who will likely be adding their own special touch to "This Wretched Fiasco."

First, I have nothing patriotic to say. Second, you can now find just about everything that’s really important about our drummer Robby Ogden in the Band section. Things like what his most terrible experience has been, his favorite brand of atlas, and what he thinks of the word "moist." It’s very intriguing. Delve into Robby by clicking here.
